“VINCE, YOUDA MAN !! Danged if it didn’t work. And the bonus is that my go-to finish is Danish Oil, so sanding with oil is just like starting the finishing early. It knocked down that nasty end grain like spreading butter on toast. I owe ya. Now I’m curious though. Do you use this sanding method often? Routinely? Or just in problem areas? I am now adding you to my official Christmas card list, and if I ever actually DO send out Christmas cards, you will most assuredly get one (e-card of course). “I have a pair of Vince’s 8” wheels on a 1 hp JET grinder. They are 80 and 180 respectively. They run true with no vibration. They provide an excellent edge for my tools.
