There are a few variables that separate Gold Max Discs from other paper backing discs.  Gold Max Discs offer a premium latex paper backing with Velcro Hook and Loop that is durable and very flexible!  The adhesive is a resin which is simply the best adhesive for power sanding.  Also, the abrasive is a premium uniform grit consistency made with Aluminum Oxide and is electrostatically charged to paper backing creating a uniform consistency.  We offer these discs as a superior replacement to other paper-backed discs on the market.  Also, these discs are available from 80 grit through 600.  This provides a more durable backing than other discs. Try them against your other paper-backed discs and see the difference yourself!
