Hunter Korpro Cartridge and KorPro Replacement Cutter
I have used other coring tool tips for years! The coring cutters I have used in the past worked best when the cutter was freshly sharpened. They worked best for me when I cored wet wood and coring dry wood well… that was always a bit more of a struggle for the original cutter. Recently, I got a new Korpro cutter from Hunter Tools. I have used this Korpro Carbide cutter on some fresh-cut cherry wood and was coring 11-12 inch bowls. Granted the wood was green but the difference in the two types of cutters was incredible! There is a cost difference between the two types of cutters, however, I believe that once you try this carbide cutter you will be convinced this carbide cutter is vastly superior to any steel cutter and worth the investment!
