These small pads are ideal for removing the small nub that is left over after removing the tenon from the bottom of a bowl. I use the 1″ backer pad with a 1″ soft pad. This makes it possible to remove the nub without destroying an decorations you may have added to the outer parts of the bowl’s foot.
