How to Use Starbond Industrial Formula Epoxy Putty:
To use the Starbond Epoxy Putty, follow these steps:
- Surface Preparation: Clean the area where the epoxy will be applied. Ensure that the surface is dry and free of any debris or dust.
- Measure and Mix: Cut off the required amount of putty. Knead it thoroughly until it reaches a consistent color, which should take no more than 2 minutes.
- Application: Apply the putty to the surface with precision. Press and mold it to fit the shape of the repair area.
- Molding: Quickly shape and smooth the putty with your fingers or appropriate tools to conform to the contour of the repair area.
- Curing: Allow the putty to dry. It should become touch-dry within 1 hour, but full curing times may vary.
Post-Treatment – Once the putty is cured, you may proceed with drilling, sanding, or painting if necessary.
Store the product in its container in a cool, dry environment between +41°F and +77°F, away from direct sunlight.
